Acoustic Insulation is any means of reducing the intensity of sound with respect to a specified source and receptor.

Soundproofing relates to the overall ability of a building element or building structure to reduce the sound transmission through it. Two types of sound insulation might be referred to – airborne sound insulation and impact sound insulation.

Sound absorbing foam : This open and flexible cell structure acts as a natural soundwave absorber and prevents noises from reverberating off hard surfaces like walls, floors and ceilings. It does this by converting existing sound energy to heat and reducing the ability of soundwaves to bounce back into the room.
