Anpam Engineer is a leader in the industry providing cutting-edge solutions for clients in industrial sectors. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented AutoCAD Design Engineer with specialized knowledge of Pressure Vessel Design to join our dynamic team. This role will involve the creation of detailed AutoCAD drawings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring designs meet regulatory and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Drafting: Create detailed AutoCAD drawings for pressure vessels, tanks, and related mechanical equipment.
  • Pressure Vessel Calculations: Conduct and verify pressure vessel designs in compliance with relevant standards (ASME, API, etc.).
  • Material Selection: Assist in the selection of appropriate materials and components for pressure vessels based on design specifications and operating conditions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, and safety requirements.
  • Code Compliance: Ensure designs comply with industry standards (ASME, AS1210, PD5500) and local regulations.
  • Revisions & Modifications: Review and modify designs based on feedback from testing, clients, or production teams.
  • Documentation: Prepare clear, concise technical documentation, including design reports, material specifications, and compliance certificates.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough checks and revisions to ensure high-quality and accurate designs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of [5] years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, with at least 10 years in pressure vessel design.
  • Certifications: Optional: ASME certification, API certification, etc.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, with experience in 3D modeling and drafting.
    • Strong knowledge of pressure vessel design codes and standards (e.g., ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, AS1210).
    • Ability to perform pressure vessel calculations using industry-specific software or manual methods.
    • Understanding of material properties and selection for high-pressure applications.
  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, ability to work in a team, and effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Software Experience: Familiarity with other design tools such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or PDMS.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in industries such as Oil & Gas, Chemical Processing, Power Generation, or Manufacturing.
